Prioritizing Construction Labor Productivity Improvement Strategies Using Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making and Fuzzy Cognitive Maps

چکیده

Construction labor productivity (CLP) is affected by various interconnected factors, such as crew motivation and working conditions. Improved CLP can benefit a construction project in many ways, shortened life cycle lowering cost. However, budget, time, resource restrictions force companies to select implement only limited number of improvement strategies. Therefore, research gap exists regarding methods for supporting the selection strategies given quantifying impact on with respect interrelationships among factors. This paper proposes decision support model that integrates fuzzy multi-criteria making cognitive maps prioritize based their CLP, causal relationships characteristics. The proposed was applied determine concrete-pouring activities building projects an illustrative example. study contributes body knowledge providing systematic approach selecting appropriate factors affecting CLP. results are expected practitioners identifying effective enhance projects.
